Joe Hayes~Santa Fe, NM One of the most beloved local story tellers in the Southwest, Mr. Hayes woos audiences of all ages with his soft-spoken, melodious tone of voice and his animated, expressive way of weaving a tale. Integrating both Spanish and English languages in his unique versions of traditional folklore and fables, he has been an integral part of the community for generations.  He continues to share his gift of delightful narrative every summer with stories like "El Pajaro Verde," "The Day it Snowed Tortillas," and of course, "La Llarona."
