Who I am…

Over the last two decades I have had the great honor of witnessing and accompanying my clients through powerful transformations.

My career began in with a passion to help young people realize their potential despite adverse and challenging circumstances. Since obtaining my Masters degree from the University of Southern California in 2003, I’ve worked in both public and private sectors as a clinician, taught in graduate programs, and maintained an ongoing commitment to lifelong learning.

With a personal understanding of anxiety, self-sabotage, and relational trauma, I have come to believe we are designed to overcome and to evolve through life’s challenges. We are inherently resilient beings!

As a therapist, I believe courage and confidence emerge through the process of self-exploration. I challenge myself and others to think outside the box, to tap into unique and creative self-expression, and to develop authentic relationships with self and others.

My background in dance and performing arts influences my belief that the human mind, body, and spirit are interconnected. By enhancing this relationship, we deepen our trust and strengthen from within.

My approach…

From a growth-oriented perspective, I am dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate transitions and restore balance. I specialize in work with professionals and creatives to heal from patterns that hold them back by addressing issues such as depression and anxiety, grief/loss, history of trauma, LGBTQ and relationship issues.

With thought-provoking questions, I invite my clients to bring curiosity and compassion to their life experiences and to realize their own answers and aspirations. In an empowering therapeutic relationship, we work together to reveal and reinforce innate strengths and to access a deep and meaningful healing.
