Mikael B~Los Angeles, CA— Originally from Copenhagen Denmark, Mikael is an expressive and visionary contemporary artist. A graffiti artist since he was a teenager, he now works with a variety of mediums integrating photography, digital art, fine art, and street art to create powerful, vibrant, and provocative pieces. With his work on display from galleries to city murals, we met this friendly and unpretentious guy in front of his latest project… an immense three-story wall against an industrial building near Hollywood. He is one of the artists who has been commissioned by American Express to infuse art into the city streets across the world. Working solo on an impressive scale, Mikael was bringing life to a particularly bland area of the city. What was once a beige, bleak, and uninteresting corner, is now a vast space of brilliant colors, surreal images, and endless possibilities.
