Hot Carob "Cocoa"
~By Molly Brennand In a blender combine 1 tbsp unroasted carob powder, 1 tsp finely ground flaxseeds, 1 tsp sesame seeds, 1 cup water or unsweetened coconut milk, and raw honey to taste. Heat in a small saucepan and enjoy while warm.

Unlike most plants, carob’s tannins don’t dissolve in water and can help prevent harmful bacterial growth in the intestines."
