Coco-Kiwi Fruit Infusion

~by Molly Brennand Peel and chop 1 or 2 whole kiwis, and muddle together with 1 cup organic plain coconut water (without any added sugars).

Benefits:

  • Coconut water (a.k.a. "Nature's Gatorade”)—Extremely hydrating; contains vital and essential electrolytes including calcium, magnesium, phospohorus and potassium; has far less sugar than most popular sports drinks on the market
  • Kiwis—Rich in seratonin which boosts mood, learning and memory, helps to regulate appetite and can help stabilize sleep/wake cycles; high in Vitamin C and E; provides necessary minerals to help counterbalance the excessive amount of acidic foods commonly found in the Standard American Diet
